This is our most rigorous class. Improve muscular strength and endurance, deepen flexibility and tune into greater balance. Ashtanga yoga is a flowing yoga where you move from one standing, sitting, and then lying pose to another. Approximately 5 breathes are spent in each pose. The poses are quite challenging and will enhance your mental focus. The Hatha aspect of the class is slower allowing for a deeper opening of the hips, spine and shoulders.
